Tash is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. With over ten years’ experience, Tash has outstanding knowledge in the area of child development and effective early years practice. Tash has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management and is currently studying a Diploma of Counselling.
Following her own child’s diagnosis of disability, nearly ten years ago, Tash’s focus shifted towards disability and inclusion. Having gained first-hand knowledge in how to effectively facilitate early intervention and navigate the disability support system, Tash chose a career in inclusive education to help other educators better support children with disability within education settings. Using her lived experience to help others was deeply rewarding. This work soon prompted Tash to start her own social enterprise to work directly with families impacted by disability, and build their skills and capacity too. Tash is committed to guiding other families to reach their optimal goals and work together to dismantle barriers for those with disability.
